Stacy Ann Ferguson, or Fergie, is currently known for her musical career as a solo artist but also performing with “The Black Eyed Peas”. The American singer was born on 27th of March 1975 and grew up in Hacienda Heights, California. She is half Mexican half Scottish after her parents’ origins. She was a very energetic child and together with her older sister, Dana, they were one step further to be treated with medicines for their hyperactivity. She attended a dance school and took private singing lessons, encouraged by her mom. Although a straight A student and with a successful debut in performing chart hits on a TV kids show, “Incorporated”, she admitted that she struggled with ecstasy and crystal methadone addiction. Nevertheless, she continued her musical career in “Wild Orchid” girl band, as a teenage.

Her talent doesn’t consist only in music performance but also in acting and modeling. “It’s flash beagle, Charlie Brown” (voice only), “Snoopy is getting married, Charlie Brown” (voice only), “Outside Ozona”, “Be Cool”, “Poseidon”, “The Fog” are just a few movies in which she acted.

Her personal life was tumultuous as Fergie herself admitted: “I have had lesbian experiences in the past. I won’t say how many men I’ve had sex with—but I am a very sexual person”. Currently she is romantically involved since September 2004 with Josh Duhamel (known for his acting performance in “Las Vegas”).

Although she had a few embarrassment moments in her career (after a couple of drinks she urinated on stage during her performance at “San Diego‘s Street Dance festival”), she was rewarded with numerous awards. Only in 2007 she received 7 awards: “Choice Female Artist”, “Best Female Artist”, “Best New International Artist”, “World Best Selling R&B Artist”, “Best Pop/Rock Female Artist. She hit the 10th position in Maxim’s Magazine Hot 100 Women in 2007. Recently, in 2008, she was nominated for the Grammies for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance”

Her latest album, “The Dutchess”, produced by her band colleague Will.I am , made in the top 5 hits in Billboard Top 100. Songs like “London Bridge”, “Glamorous”, “Fergalicious”, “Clumsy”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” are popular all over the world.
